Laurel Friedman

Laurel Friedman was initially interested in yoga for its physical benefits, but discovered that yoga can be a powerful catalyst for change. Drawn in by yoga’s transformative capacity and nonviolent ethos, she turned to yoga for restoration and peace and discovered so much more.

Laurel received her RYT 200 certification and Aerial Yoga Teacher certification in 2019 with Yoga Loft of Tampa, a Registered Yoga Alliance School. She is also certified in adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED with the American Red Cross.

Laurel offers private yoga instruction to individuals and small groups, specializing in alignment, breathwork, physical strength, and meditation. Aerial yoga instruction is also available to individual and small groups. Laurel notes, “Yoga is a great resource to bring into your organization for its benefits for stress reduction, concentration, and creativity.”

Exploring the strength that builds from movement, Laurel works to engage a resonating power within breathwork, meditation, and stillness. Her group classes and private instruction combine playful sequencing with an emphasis on acceptance and respect for ourselves and others.

Laurel Friedman also teaches a range of classes at in the University of South Florida Department of Communication. She also offers writing, editing, and development services for corporations, organizations, and individuals.
